OUR PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES

Gatin'go
The Gantin’Go Festival is Kori Art’s annual celebration of global storytelling and creativity. Each year, we bring together New Americans, local international artists, and invited artists from around the world for a vibrant mix of performances, exhibitions, workshops, and cultural experiences. Highlighting voices from our Featured Artist Series, the festival creates a dynamic space for connection, collaboration, and the sharing of diverse stories that inspire and unite our community..

Under The Baobab
Every month, we bring together an artist, an art critic, a leader from an art organization, and a member of the community to engage in a meaningful dialogue about immigration—its history and its present—and to explore the vital role of art in society. This conversation takes place beneath the baobab tree, a symbol of communal gathering and wisdom, where for generations people have come together to discuss challenges and opportunities facing their communities. Through this tradition, we continue to foster connection, reflection, and creative expression centered on themes that shape our world.

Featured Artist Series
Each month, Kori Art spotlights a New American or local international artist—professional or emerging—whose work enriches our creative community. Through short features, digital showcases, and community highlights, we share their stories with the world and celebrate the diversity of global arts. The series also introduces international artists living abroad whom we plan to welcome to the Gantin’Go Festival, building excitement and fostering cross-cultural connections year-round.
